With the international break upon us, a number of national teams will be without their top stars ahead of this weekend s 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
England left-back Ashley Cole, 32, will miss the Three Lions World Cup qualifier against Montenegro on Friday.
The 32-year-old defender aggravated the injury against Norwich City, and has been replaced by Arsenal s Kieran Gibbs in Roy Hodgson s squad.
Cole has not been ruled out for the Poland match on 15 October, but remains a doubt, with Leighton Baines expected to start both qualifiers.
England are currently sitting atop Group H with 16 points, one point clear of Ukraine and Montenegro, respectively.

Getafe secured their first away victory in La Liga this season by scoring twice in two second-half minutes to win 2-1 at Sporting Gijon on Monday.
The visitors only had two points from their first eight matches on the road in 2015-16, but came from behind to move up to 13th in the table and open up a five-point cushion over Sporting, who stay in the bottom three.
Sporting had taken a 16th-minute lead when on-loan Roma forward Antonio Sanabria netted his sixth league goal of the season with a simple finish from Miguel Angel Guerrero s cut-back.
It looked like Getafe s chances of a comeback were over when Pedro Leon struck the foot of the post with a second-half penalty after Stefan Scepovic had been barged in the back by Jorge Mere six yards from goal.

The NFL has three games scheduled on Christmas Day beginning with an afternoon showdown between the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs can clinch their eighth straight AFC West title with a win, which would essentially extinguish the Raiders’ playoff hopes.
These opponents faced off in Sin City last month with the Chiefs prevailing 31-17. Oddsmakers don’t see the rematch going any differently with NFL odds for this Week 16 showdown installing the Kansas City as a hefty 10-point home favorite.
Here are my best free NFL picks for the Raiders vs. Chiefs on Monday, December 25.

Former Poland president Lech Walesa says the country s co-hosting of Euro 2012 will be of a massive benefit off the field as well as on it.
With parts of the country still suffering from an economic downturn following the collapse of communism, Walesa reiterated exclusively to Goal.com that the money ploughed into the Polish economy fits in with the free state which he helped to create.
Speaking of his feelings about the European Championship being staged in his home country, the co-founder of the Solidarity Trade Union said: I was a part of the organisational processes I always thought that we need to unite different nations.
Furthermore, Euro 2012 has sparked off many investments in this country. New things have been built, others were tidied up. It is this a…
The 2022/23 season is about to start in all major European leagues, slightly earlier that usual due to the players obligations at the upcoming World Cup in Qatar. It will therefore be a unique campaign, with a break for a major international tournament set within.
Let s take a look at some early odds when it comes to the French top flight, courtesy of .
Paris Saint-Germain 1/9
It hasn t been too hard to predict who would win the title in Ligue 1 for some time now, with Paris Saint-Germain vastly superior to every other club in France in terms of quality and financial power. The venture chaired by Nasser Al-Khelaifi won the crown of French football eight times in the last decade, which obviously speaks volumes.
